FREE Bad Check Collection Service

This feature is for Medi-Claims, LLC clients that process a lot of personal checks as well as insurance claims and have more than a couple of bad check occurrences a month. It converts non-sufficient funds and uncollected funds checks into electronic items that are sent through the ACH network for automatic collection for you.

In 1998 the National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) approved electronic collection of checks returned for insufficient funds (NSF). Checks returned unpaid for NSF can now be collected through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network, which allows financial institutions to to collect payments on behalf of business customers from consumers.
TRANSLATION: we can sign you up to have NSF checks returned to your bank automatically collected for you.

Your cost: Electronic NSF collection under this program is FREE. Hard collections on "account closed" and "stop payment" checks are on a 75%/25% split of the collected amount. There is a one-time set up fee of $99.00 with no annual renewal fees.
Your return: 100% of the NSF check amount collected without any bank collection or redeposit fees. The bad check writer pays all NSF collection fees.
Success rate: Collections have averaged 75% of the recipient's NSF checks within 5-7 business days and another 10% within 30 business days.
Approval needed: To participate, you must authorize the bank and our partnered agency to automatically collect all NSF, "account closed" and "stop payment" checks associated with the business bank account you designate to participate in the program.
